The 'Credit Crunch': Coping during a time of uncertainty
If a situation seems out of your control it can bring all sorts of hardships, negative emotions and thoughts to the surface. Fear, guilt, worry, blame, injustice, anger, remorse… the list goes on and on.
It can be a difficult ‘financial, emotional and spiritual place’ to be, but take heart, you’re not alone. Many people face uncertain times and there are numerous Catholic organisations and church communities who are willing to walk with you and where possible help practically.

Your present experience of uncertainty won’t last. Experience shows us that life presents many ups and downs. Whatever you’re facing, it will pass. There is every reason to hope.

Making time to reflect on your situation can help; it's an exercise that may provide perspective and a means to cope with the uncertainty. Try to identify the challenges, but also the blessings in your life.
